Your thoughts are very much appreicated an well thought out. While your concern is that we place too much emphasism on what man does in baptism, I wonder if the actual act has too much emphasis. Shouldn't it be what is in your heart? When a man sins, the actions is considered bad, but forgivable because in his heart he wants to be better. At least that is my read on it. So if I cannot briong myself to get baptized for whatever reason, shouldn't the idea that I want to be good and Godly count for something? This is merely a bit of what I was thinking, but I thank you again for your input.
