Very few of the things given as commands to early church could be construed as merely for cultural purposes. Many in fact were anti-cultural. The idea that people could eat anything, that Paul express numerous times would be offensive to many jews of the time (I say many because some jews advocated this for the gentiles, like James, who was undoubtedly a jew by birth). Some things we do not like, but that does not mean that we are not to follow them. They all have a purpose to serve and each can enhance our spiritual relationship with God. Some may seem outdated, but mostly that is because our culture has degenerated to a great degree.
We have no scriptural basis for some of the things we do, such as the times we meet. The only scripture in reference to that states that we should meet and that the early christians met constantly, and on the first day of the week for the Lord's Supper and the gathering for the saints.
All scripture is God breathed and useful for teaching and correcting.
