I must agree entirely. My wife too was not baptized in the church of Christ.
Since moving to the church of Christ with help from my self, and help from
an Evangelist, Rick Sparks, she has looked at the circumstances of her
baptism, and why she was baptized in the first place. No one could know but
her and God what was in her mind, and what motivated her to be baptized. She
was baptized for all the right reasons; she was baptized for the remission
of sins, to be buried with Christ. She was baptized in the name of the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. She was immersed full in the water. Who
are any of us lowly humans to tell her, or anyone, that their baptism didn't
count? That is for God and God only to decide, my wife had to decide for
herself if her baptism was right in God's eyes. All any of us can do in this
kind of situation is to encourage them to evaluate how and why they were
baptized, and to compare that to what the Bible says, then we must pray that
they make the right decision as to weather or not that baptism was a baptism
in God's eyes. We can read all different scriptures about being baptized
like Acts 2:38, 39

AC 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the
name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit. [39] The promise is for you and your children
and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."

And when we read this scripture or any other it does not tell us that the
baptism must occur in a church of Christ. No, it tells us that someone,
anyone, should be baptized for the remission of sins in the name of Jesus
Christ. If they have done that, what makes the baptism wrong? My wife has
had to deal with people considering her to not be a part of the church of
Christ because she wasn't baptized in the church of Christ. I don't think
this is right, and I think what Dave said just backs this up.
