I'm not really sure what the question is, but will comment to see if this is it. I have had several opportunities to be in multi-language groups, a few times here in the U.S. and several times overseas, and the guidelines Paul sets forth in 1 Corinthians are still right. An English speaker like myself among people who don't understand his language needs to be quiet in the assembly unless there is someone who can translate his message so that it will be understood. Likewise, a Spanish speaker needs to be quiet if the audience doesn't understand Spanish and there is no translator. Is that what you're asking about, Debbie, or some other aspect?
