I Cor.14 question

In First Corinthians, chapter 14 it talks about our services being "orderly and proper" and it talks about women remaining silent. The church seems to have no problem with this, but why is it we seem to ignore the speaking in "foreign languages"? I read this last night so I don't remember exact words, but I think you can read it and know what I'm asking.
