Actually, The Bereans have some good information on cults, but they seem to be somewhat off base from any Church of Christ that I have ever attended.

One thing that I have learned about religious groups is that it really isn't a good idea to stereotype them or their members. Sure, there are some groups that, because of their beliefs, one can pretty much guess what they are actually doing. However, we should be cautious about judging before we have the facts. Seems that essay is suggesting that your Church is aligned with groups that follow the teachings of a man.

Essay, It might be nice to see evidence prior to accusation (subtle as it is)…but then again isn’t that what happened to Jesus by those that murdered him? Remember it’s not a good thing if people call you Pharisee as a nickname :-)
