When visiting a local "Berean Christian Store" I overheard a sales clerk talking to a couple of men about Bibles. They were looking at two KJV Bibles, one a Thompson Chain Reference and the other a Master Study Bible. They wondered which was better. The clerk clearly didn't know much about either one, and only knew for sure that the KJV is the "most confusing Bible we have." As they pursued their inquiry she pointed to the Master Study Bible and said, "I do know that's our most stolen Bible." When asked for clarification she said that recently five of them had been carried off by "customers." It's always something of a connundrum, why does one steal a Bible? And what does one do with a stolen Bible?
