I dont really care to get into this whole arguement, but it came up in class whether or not God was a man or a woman. Ben gave this simple reason: God Fathered children. The implication being that to father children, He would have to be a man. Later it struck me as kinda bad reasoning. By saying God has to be a man to fatehr children, you are suddenly putting limitations on Him. I mean, He is all powerful, so if He were a She, then He could still Fahter children right? I mena He can do anything. Maybe I am off base, and I am sure Ben has many other reasons for his conclusion, but that one seems kinda faulty to me somehow. Just a thought.
