I have a question...

Well, "Seeker", if you're going to try to live by the Law you'd better learn it a little better, but the testimony of scripture is that you won't succeed even if you do learn those rules accurately. I wish I could perceive an actual desire to know in your question(s). Nevertheless, a straight answer is that given by Paul,
Rom 3:20-24
20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (NIV)

The "law" which included the Sabbath and rules about crops and fibers was not ever given to the world at large, only to a specific nation of people, the descendants of Israel. However, it was intended to make people in all times and places aware that choices do matter, behavior does make a difference, and we are accountable to God. Law reveals our nature, that we are rebellious, stubborn, disobedient. Law reveals our need for mercy and redemption in Christ.

Rom 8:1-4
1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Don't be too hasty about stoning your brother or your neighbor, certainly God hasn't instructed you to, but do consider that death hangs over your own head every moment that you live, and consider that God has offered the choice of life and freedom through Jesus Christ, who gave his life to give you (and me) an opportunity to escape the devastating penalties of laws we have broken.
