Craig, I felt the same way until one night when I told my son that these weren't kids movies, he asked why it was okay for us to watch them then, that struck a nerve and made me realize that he was right. If he shouldn't watch them, we shouldn't either. I haven't missed them one bit. It took me a little longer with the books, but now I feel the same way about them . Most of them are filled with vulgarity and other things I wouldn't want my kids to read, so I don't either. I probably still read too much that I shouldn't, but I'm more aware now and much better about stopping as soon as I see what kind of book it is.
