Hi Joshua, A while back, I saw an updated analysis of the shroud of Turin on the Discovery chanel. Because of much handling of the shroud, those scientists in that documentary, said they found evidence of a certain type of bacteria that left a residue on the cloth, which would alter a true radio carbon date test, and would register a more recent period of time than the actual date of the cloth. I believe another thing they found, was that the image on the cloth was so thin, only a few microns thick, that it would have been impossible for it to have been painted, brushed, dusted, etc., and they figured the only known way to put such a thin image on it, would be to do it with a type of radiation burn. If that is so, could that have happened when Jesus transfigured right through it? I wish I could remember what the name of that documentary was. Maybe someone else in this group remembers. If they do, I hope they do a follow up on this. It was very interesting. They also showed several other important facts in that documentary, that make it sound like the shroud of Turin could be real. As far as a test of any blood on the cloth, I don't believe it would make any difference, because God created all of us. And when His Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary, He was able to create and place whatever gene was necessary into the egg in Mary's womb at that time anyway. So Jesus, who existed before He became flesh (John 1:1-14), became incarnate (clothed with flesh) at that conception. God Bless
