Well, Ben, I'm not sure if your post is directed to, or at, me. I'm also not quite sure what you're saying here. If you're saying that the Parousia has already occurred, you are certainly outside the mainstream of Christian thought, by a few million light-years at least. If you're saying that Jesus' predictions in Matthew 24 were nothing more than a weather forecast for Good Friday afternoon, I would like you to read it again. Start at Mt 24:14 and contiune through to the end of verse 36. Jesus was speaking a couple of days before His death. He talks about a lot of things that obviously did not happen during that short time, but then He didn't say they would - He said 'before the people now living have all died.' That time has come and gone, where is the fulfillment of all of these verses? I'll go through it with you, verse by verse, if you wish. I'm looking out the window right now, and it's heavily overcast. The sun has been darkened. This happens here about every day at this time of year. I don't think that's what Jesus meant.
