Well, caf, your Christmas spirit was very short-lived. Responding to this volley and your previous post to me is going to require time, but I will try to do so sometime this year, which is, of course, only a few days. Regarding Christology, why not let Steven speak for himself? I assume that your 'take' on Christology is that yours is 100% right and everybody who doesn't agree with you is automatically wrong. I notice this tendency when I hear other people say, for example, 'Mormons (members of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints) are not Christians', which is, of course, like saying that members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians are not Irish. Why not just say that their Christology differs? No, I don't think the risen Christ was the same as the pre-crucified Christ, for reasons I have stated. No, I don't think that the mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, nor grows to be the largest of all trees. I think Jesus was trying to make a point here. Whether He actually knew of smaller seeds or larger trees is, I think, a small matter on which Christians of good will should be able to disagree. I will try to post a longer, but still succinct reply within a few days.
