You said that the Church is a guide in morals, but it is not the only one. I am continually amazed by the idea that without being religious, a person is automatically destined to become a savage brute. And church should be something you choose personally anyways. What purpose does religion have in the state? Even if you could meld the two, there are too many view points to consolidate.
