1 Cor 13:4-13
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
NIV

Matt 28:17-20
18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
NIV

1 Cor 1:18-25
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
NIV

Acts 16:31-34
31They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household." 32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God-he and his whole family.
NIV

Keeping the first passage in mind as I progress through the others, please. Jesus commanded his disciples to go throughout the world making disciples and baptizing all nations. And teaching them to obey everything that Jesus had commanded the disciples.
God has many commands that we do not and cannot understand. Baptism is something that to a great extent can only be understood by those who have experienced and embraced it. But before it can be embraced properly one must believe first that there is one God, the creator, who is a loving God. Second that God has sent his son as it says in John 3:16 so that we can be saved from ourselves. Third that we need his help, because we do not understand what we ourselves must do, without him first explaining it.
If these three things are believed, then the obeying will come naturally. And in this obeying there will be failures, but the triumphs will be so much greater than any of the failures. If we follow God and obey his commands then everything else will follow, but it must be a concerted effort to obey every single one of his commands. Not one is to be left out, no matter how insignificant it may seem to us mere mortal humans.

My belief is that I am no longer a mortal human, but that my mortality has been clothed to immortality. I do not know everything, but I know that I will try my best to do everything God and his Son have commanded, that includes going forth and making disciples of all nations baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all the commands. Paul says to imitate me as I imitate Christ, and that is a wonderful example to follow.

Everything comes from these three things Faith, Hope, and Love.
As long as there are questions being asked we need to speak the truth in Love, and we must continue in the Hope that what we do here in this short life will reap a crop a hundredfold what we sow, and have our faith placed solely in the rock of our salvation.
